The Coach House sleeps 2 and is a beautifully converted period coach house and tack room retaining many period features, for couples who appreciate a high quality spacious accommodation and the romance of a log burning stove, open beams and a four poster bed.


The Coach House is a romantic four star cottage, set in an old courtyard in a beautiful and peaceful location on the edge of Northumberland National Park with views into fields and woods.

With its king-size, four poster bed, memory foam mattress and high quality linen, in a spacious en-suite bedroom, this cottage makes a fantastic location for a romantic break, or as a place to entertain friends who live near by with it’s large, well equipped kitchen and dinning room table that can seat 4.

The cottage has comfortable open plan feel and has been tastefully restored retaining its original hearth and beams with doors and accessories reclaimed from the original tack room fittings. It has a comfortable lounge, with a TV and books.

The beautifully presented kitchen with its oak dining table,  is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer – dryer, microwave, fridge & freezer.

The cottage opens out onto asheltered courtyard with table, chairs and a BBQ.

The cottage is in a very quiet location, but also is very convenient for Alnwick, just 8 miles away.
The four poster bedroom has a superb, en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and basin.

The Cottage benefits from under floor central heating throughout, parking for one car and an outside seating area with a barbecue.
A cot and high-chair are available and linen and towels are provided.
